Information for Residents and Clinical Fellows

UCPath: Your Gateway to Benefits and Pay

UCPath gives us greater operational freedom to focus on our key mission - advancing health worldwide.

The UCPath online portal provides you with expanded self-service functionality   from your desktop, laptop, mobile, or tablet. Use UCPath online for most functions previously provided by At Your Service Online (AYSO).

Employee self-service access is granted automatically when an individual is hired into a UCPath position.

Training is not required before employees can login and use the self-service functions in UCPath online. When you need to view information or take an action in UCPath online, refer to the applicable resource below for guidance. If you don't find what you need or you need further assistance, select from the contacts on the Get Help page.

Key differences for residents and clinical fellows:

  • You will continue to use the current procedure (MedHub or paper timesheets) to report time and leave usage.
  • UCPath does not have the capability to correctly report leave accrual and balances for employees who receive their full accrual upon appointment. Leave balances shown in UCPath online will be incorrect. Refer to MedHub or your department administrator for your correct leave balance.
  • Due to the special nature of the plans, benefits plan information for residents and clinical fellows will not be displayed in UCPath online.
